On October 19th, the "2020 World Conference on Virtual Reality Industry" grandly opened in Nanchang, China. The conference is an initiative to deepen international cooperation and exchange and to promote the development of the world's VR industry. On October 20th, the "2020 World VR Industry Conference-Austria Summit" hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province was officially held.
In his guest speech delivered online, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolf-Dieter Rausch, President of the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet (EPU), underlines the network’s aim to connecting Austria and Asia and to strengthen international cooperation. Virtual reality opens a new field of possibilities, especially now in times of the global pandemic.
